The Vivian Foundation Logo

The Vivian Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established to help children of incarcerated parents.

The goal of The Vivian Foundation is to positively impact each one of the 2.7 million children who have a mother or father in prison. We are devoted to helping raise awareness for these kids and providing resources to ministries and other non-profit organizations that are dedicated to serving the needs of these families.

The Vivian Foundation also has an outreach program for inmates. To date, we have provided tens of thousands of Call Me Vivian and Vivian’s Call books and Just One Word Bible Reading Plans to jails and prisons throughout the United States.

The Vivian Foundation is built on three things that will last forever:
faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.

Faith

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance of the things we cannot see.
(Hebrews 11:1)

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

Hope

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
(Psalm 10:17)

And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.
(Psalm 39:7)

Love

What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
(Galatians 5:6)

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
(1 John 4:16)

Vision:
Our vision is to support organizations whose statement of faith aligns with ours by providing resources for their prison ministry efforts.

We are particularly interested in partnering with non-profit organizations that are devoted to reuniting families impacted by the prison experience so that kids of all ages are able to visit their parents while they are incarcerated.

Our goal is to positively impact each one of the 2.7 million children who has a mother or father in prison. We are steadfast in helping raise awareness for these kids and securing resources that are necessary to assist ministries that are dedicated to serving the needs of these families.

We also have an outreach program for inmates.

Statement of Faith:
The Vivian Foundation believes that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.

We believe in one true God, creator of heaven and earth, who exists as three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in God the Father, the first person of the Trinity, who is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, who was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless human life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. We believe that Jesus Christ will return in power and glory to fulfill God’s eternal plan.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, draws people to Jesus Christ and empowers all believers to live godly lives.

We believe that anyone who puts their faith and trust in Jesus Christ becomes a member of his body, the Church and that nothing can separate us from God’s love.
